ESOL Classes

Join our ESOL In-Person Classes designed to help adults improve their English in a supportive, friendly environment. Our sessions focus on speaking, listening, reading, and writing skills, with practical everyday English for work, study, and community life. Delivered across local community venues, classes are suitable for beginner to early intermediate learners and are taught by experienced tutors. Build confidence, meet new people, and develop the language skills you need to thrive in daily life in the UK.

Our ESOL in-person classes at Pepys Community Hub are designed to support learners from Pre-A1 to A2 level, helping you build confidence and practical English skills for everyday life, work, and community participation.

Classes are led by a fully TEFL/CELTA-trained teacher, ensuring high-quality, structured learning with clear progression tailored to individual needs. Learners receive certificates of achievement to recognise progress in both level advancement and total hours studied.

We recommend a minimum commitment of one 12-week term, with one year of attendance strongly encouraged for steady development and long-term confidence building.

All learning materials are provided, including structured worksheets and guided activities. Students are encouraged to bring a notebook and pen to record vocabulary, practice exercises, and personal learning notes.

These supportive and welcoming sessions are ideal for learners looking to improve speaking, listening, reading, and writing skills in a friendly community environment.
